RYAN MONTBLEAU BAND

Songwriter and performer Ryan Montbleau enters a new chapter of his career with the release of Growing Light on April 21st. The 10-song set is bold and barrier breaking, organically blending rock, funk, soul, folk and psychedelia to create a sonic kaleidoscope where tunes like the percolating first single “Pacing Like Prince” and the cinematic title track co-exist in refracted bliss. THE SOUL REBELS

The Soul Rebels started with an idea – to expand upon the pop music they loved on the radio and the New Orleans brass tradition they grew up on. KAT WRIGHT &

THE INDOMITABLE SOUL BAND

“What’s in a name…?” So mused the bard, and all too often the name doesn’t do justice to the subject. Not so with this Vermont octet. Kat herself, whose voice is both sultry and dynamic, delicate yet powerful, and gritty but highly emotive and nuanced, has been described as “a young Bonnie Raitt meets Amy Winehouse”.  On the other hand, one is presented with the words “Indomitable Soul Band”.  Seven players, each a soloist and entertainer in their own right, blending Memphis soul and new school R&B.  They aim right for the heart and move your soul without overlooking your ass. Confident, cool and, well… indomitable. (MORE...)

Muddy Ruckus blends haunting male/female vocals, rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit. The band seasons their music with the salt of the eastern old ports and the mud of the Mississippi River where Flaherty grew up, creating an epic blend of bluesy folk rock, foot stomping rhythms and haunting vocal melodies. (MORE...).

FOR THE KIDS:

JOSH & THE JAMTONES

Josh & the Jamtones are an interactive, ultra-powered dance party machine. Our buddy Stefan Sheperd (ZOOGLOBBLE/NPR CONTRIBUTOR) calls us a "ten-ton bundle of energy," and we like to think that pretty much sums us up.

We make music for kids! And their grownups. Plus big brother/big sister, grammies and/or pappies, family pets, babysitters, 3rd cousins, elderly neighbors, old college roommates, etc. We're age-inclusive like that. (MORE...).
